MSW - Stands for Master of Social Work. Typically, a MSW is a 2 year course, minimum eligibility for which is a graduation in any discipline. Social Work is the organized effort towards helping communities, groups or individuals in need. Subjects studied under this degree are psychology, sociology, human behavior and growth, methodology and social work research.

Eligibility criteria-

Passed PG or Honours in any social science subject, Law, Psychology, Commerce, Human Development, Nutrition, Human Rights, Environmental Studies OR any Honours Graduate with any one the above as pass subject OR Pass Graduate with any above-mentioned subject with 45% marks.

Reservation: 33% seats are reserved for students of Vidyasagar University, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 2% for Physically Challenged. 5 seats are reserved for candidates sponsored by Government Department/ Organization.
