a Bhawan Rural Institute (VBRI). The foundation-stone was laid by the Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Sardar Gurmukh Nihal Singh, on the 19th of January, 1957.

Course Structure

Optional Subjects: Students are required to select three subjects from these and only one subject can be selected from one group.

Group-1 : Economics / Sanskrit Literature

Group-2 : Geography

Group-3 : Political Science

Group-4 : History

Group-5 : Public Administration / Hindi Literature / Rural Development and Extension

Group-6 : Sociology / English Literature.

Compulsory Subjects in First Year
(1) General English
(2) Environment Studies

Compulsory Subjects in Second Year

(1) General Hindi
(2) Elementary computer Application

Admission Details

Eligibility: 10+2 / Inter passed; Arts/Science/Commerce students who have secured 48% marks are eligible for admission. SC/ST and O.B.C. (non-creamy layer) students are eligible for admission on minimum pass marks. If seats remain empty general students with minimum pass marks will be given admission as per rules of the state government.
