University of the Punjab was founded in 1882, it is a public research university and it is the oldest and largest public university in Pakistan.

Mr. Mujahid Kamran is the Vice Chancellor of University of Punjab, he was born in January 23, 1951 (age 64), at Gujrat City, Pakistan


He is a professor of physics and he had previously served as the chairman of the Physics Department at the University of the Punjab.
