Vellore Institute of Technology is an Indian institute of higher education and a Deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act. Founded in 1984, as Vellore Engineering College, by Mr. G. Viswanathan, the institution offers 20 undergraduate, 34 postgraduate, 4 integrated and 4 research programs.

I want to tell you that if you want to get admission in M.Tech then you have to give the entrance exam that is VIT Master's Entrance Examination (VITMEE) and here for your reference I am giving you the details of VIT Master's Entrance Examination (VITMEE):

VITMEE 2015 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must be Indian Nationals.
Candidates should have completed their B.E/B.Tech in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates appearing for their final degree exam / final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.

VITMEE 2015 Exam Pattern:
VITMEE comprises of Computer Based Tests (CBT) for 100 marks.
The total number of questions asked are 100.
There will be no negative marks for wrong answers

VITMEE 2015 Application process:
VITMEE 2015 Application is online only
Candidates are required to upload the photograph and signature as per specifications while filling in the online VITMEE 2015 Application.
The printout of the filled in VITMEE 2015 Online Application Form (after successful submission) must be sent to the university.
