VIT University formerly called Vellore Engineering College was established in the year 1984. It is affiliated to University Grants Commission . There is no specific dress code at VIT University . Wearing shorts,Capri and Bermuda to classes are not allowed . Otherwise, no specific dress code. It is the responsibility of the students to maintain decent dress code .
