70 percent seats are filled by the EAMCET/ICET Convener according to AP Government rules.

30 percent of seats are filled by the administration just on legitimacy premise. Seats are open for every qualified competitor including hopefuls having a place with different states and Union Territories of India and NRIs, who are qualified in EAMCET and the individuals who are not qualified in EAMCET but rather are having half in total in twelfth standard having the subjects of Maths, Physics, Chemistry are qualified for the Admission.
