Ministry of Shipping, Directorate of Lighthouses & Lightships, Gujarat has announced notification for the direct recruitment of Technician (Electronics), Technician (Diesel), Radio Technician vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed application format within 21 days from the date of advertisement & for remote areas within 28 days form the date of advertisement. Important Dates: Date of Advertisement: 14-02-2015 to 20-02-2015 Last Date for Receipt of Applications: With in 21 days from the date of advertisement. Last Date for Receipt of Applications for remote ares: With in 28 days from the date of advertisement. Ministry of Shipping Vacancy Details: Total No. of Posts: 04 Name of the Posts: 1. Technician (Electronics): 01 Post 2. Technician (Diesel): 01 Post 3. Radio Technician: 02 Posts Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be in between 18-30 years for Post 1&2, 18-27 years for Post 3 as on 08-09-2014. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules. Educational Qualification: Candidates need to have 1 year practical experience in installation and maintenance of wireless transmitters, receivers, aerial systems and associated power plants in the Central Government or the State Government or a Public Sector Undertaking or any autonomous body for Post 3, Diploma in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics or Communication Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics/ Combination of above from recognized institution or equivalent for Post 1 & Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute for Post 2 with relevant experiences. Selection Process: Short listed candidates are called for written examination/ skill test/ interview.  |
