I have cleared Masters Degree and now want to do Ph.D. course from the Uttarakhand Technical University so please tell me is it good for doing the Ph.D. course? Give me the rankings of this University in India? in which branches it offers Ph.D. degree?

Uttarakhand Technical University is a public university in the Indian state of Uttarakhand set up by the Government of Uttarakhand.

The University is ranked 8 by the 2018 Uttarakhand University Ranking

Uttarakhand Technical University UTU Ph.D program is only for teachers, scientist and industry experienced candidates for M.Tech degree holders or Ph.D degree holders.

Integrated Ph.D is for UG degree holders in which M.Tech(R) degree is awarded in the middle of 4 years.

For teachers course work, lab is an additional with dissertation assignment so that division can be awarded on CGPA for industry and scientist,it is only 2 years dissertation.

PhD Duration-


The minimum duration for the postgraduate quali f i ed full time Ph.D
candidates will be 3 years from the date of regi strati on.

The maximum duration shall not exceed 6 years for a full time Ph.D candidate.

Masters degree with first division.
