Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam directed every year to offer admission to (several post graduate medical programs like M.D.S. and M.D. / M.S. / PG Diploma programs in various post graduate medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

Applicants who have qualified the entrance exam are also eligible for admission to the Medical Colleges of Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Agra, Allahabad, Meerut and in Medical / Dental faculty of CSM Medical University, Lucknow.

There are a total of 603 seats for all the post graduate medical programs in addition to 12 seats for MDS at CSM Medical University, Lucknow.

Eligibility Criteria ---

Applicants must have done MBBS for admission to MS/MD/ PGD courses and BDS for admission to MDS course from a recognized institute.

Applicants must have complete their internship by May End can also apply.

Applicants who have passed the MBBS/MDS Course from the Himalayan Institute of Medical Science, Dehra Dun are termed as bonafide applicant and are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test.

UPPGMET 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
The applicant must have completed M.B.B.S. course from an institute duly recognized by Medical Council of India.
The Internship of the applicant must be completed before April 01, 2016.
The applicant must have his/her registration with State Medical Council / Medical Council of India.
For NRI / Foreign applicants, the above mentioned criteria must be approved by the Medical Council of India.
Subject to Regulations on PG Medical Education, 2000.

The applicants should fill-in the application form neatly and legibly and submit the Xerox copies of the following enclosures:-
Mark Sheet of M.B.B.S. Final & Pre-Final Prof accordingly attested by gazetted officer/principal of institution

Internship Completion Certificate properly attested by gazetted officer/principal of institution.

Mark Sheet of 10+2 properly attested by gazetted officer/principal of institution.

10th Standard certificate properly attested by gazetted officer/principal of institution as a proof of age.

4 Copies of the recent passport size coloured photograph.

UPPGMET 2016 Syllabus:

UPPGMET 2016 Syllabus indicates the topics from which questions will be asked in the UP PG medical entrance exam.

The subjects are broadly what are covered in MBBS level in colleges in India. Questions asked are usually of MBBS level only.

Syllabus of UPPGMET 2016 is important for the medical candidates who will appear in the UP unaided medical college entrance exam.
