University Science Instrumentation Centre (USIC) was established at University of Kashmir in 1979.

USIC is offering One Year Post Graduate Diploma Instrumentation Technology (PGDIT) regular course with the following salient features:

Professional Development with theory and practical training in:

Biomedical Instrumentation, Analytical Instrumentation, Electronic & Electrical Instrumentation, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for industrial use

Theory and practical training on the operation of:

Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, Ion-Chromatograph, Ultracentrifuge and other high-end equipment.
