Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination is the state level exam and a gateway of various UG and PG courses offered by the most of the institutions of Uttar Pradesh

Offered Courses

The UPSEE will be the entrance for Many UG and PG programmes like B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology), B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture), B.FAD (Bachelor in Fashion & Design), B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy), BHMCT (bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology), MBA (Master of Business Administration), MAM (dual degree), and MCA (Master in Computer Application).

Eligibility Criteria

-Candidate should have cleared class 12th/equivalent examination from a state recognized or national education board.

-The subject combination in the exam should include Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of as optional subject Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical vocational subject. However, candidates pursuing Architecture should have any of these as optional subjects Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Engineering Drawing/Technical vocational subject

-Marks of the candidate in 10+2/equivalent should not be less than 45%. However, the same for the SC/ST candidates is 40% mark

Exam Pattern:

The exam of UP State Entrance Examination will be held in offline mode and candidates will have to mark answers in OMR sheet. All the questions in the exam will be of Multiple Choice Type, except in the drawing paper. There will be total 150 questions in the exam and will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

For marking correct answer 4 marks will be allocated to the candidates and negative marking will not be implemented for incorrect answers.
