Indian Engineering Services include engineers who work under the administration of India and assigned as Class – 1 officer. IES Examination Pattern

o Civil Engineering
o Mechanical Engineering
o Electrical Engineering
o Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
• The written examination will comprise two sections:
o Section I - objective types questions
o Section II – conventional (essay) type questions papers.
• Both Sections will cover the entire syllabus of the relevant engineering subject.
