How many numbers of times any one can participate in Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Combined Medical Services Exam, what is the required eligibility criteria & exam pattern & important dates???

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Conducted Combined Medical Services Examination/ CMS Numbers of attempts to clear UPSC CMS General category candidates = 6. OBC category candidates = 7. SC/ST candidates = unlimited attempts till 37 years of age. Dept. wise Vacancy Details The Services/Posts to which the recruitment is to be made and are as follows: Assistant Divisional Medical Officer (Railways): 300 Posts Assistant Medical Officer (Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services):16 Posts Junior Scale Posts (Central Health Services): 138 Posts General Duty Medical Officer Gr-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation: Nil General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council: Nil Total No. of Vacancies - 454 Posts Key Dates Starting Date for Submission of Application: 02nd May 2018 Pay by cash mode option will be deactivated at 23.59 hours of 24th May 2018 Last Date for Submission of Applications: 25th May 2018 till 06.00 PM Date of Written Examination: 22nd July 2018 Scheme of Exam The examination shall be conducted according to the following plan Part-I Computer Based Examination - (500 marks) The candidates will take the Computer Based Examination in two Papers, each Paper carrying a maximum of 250 marks. Each Paper will be of two hours duration. Part-II Personality Test - (100 Marks): Personality test carrying 100 marks of such of the candidates who qualify on the results of the Computer Based Examination |
