The UPSC is conduct one Assistant Professor of Sugar Technology in National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. The post is Unreserved.

Qualifications:
Candidates have a recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Candidates have Post Graduate Diploma in Sugar Technology from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent

Experience:
They have Five years experience of Teaching / Research/ Advisory experience in the field of Sugar Technology or five years practical experience of working in a sugar factory in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
