UPPGMEE- Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam (UPPGMEE) is a paper-pen based post-graduate medical/dental test directed by the King George Medical University, Lucknow for admission to M.D./M.S./M.D.S./Postgraduate Diploma Seats in K.G. Medical University (KGMU), UP State Medical Colleges & Institutes.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have completed MBBS course from an institute duly recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI)

The Internship of the candidate must be completed before 01st April 2016. The candidate must have his/her registration with State Medical Council/Medical Council of India

For NRI/Foreign candidates, the above mentioned criteria must be approved by the Medical Council of India



Exam Pattern

The questions will generally be of MBBS level; the test will be of 3 hours duration; the UPPGMET will consists of a maximum of 250 marks; there will be a total no. of 250 objective type multiple choice questions

There is only one correct response for each question out of four responses given; there will be negative marks of 1/4 for each wrong answer
