University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test UGC NET is taken by UGC 2 times in a year for formative the eligibility of Indian nationals for following: Eligibility for Lectureship in Indian universities and colleges Award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and/or So here I am giving NET exam Eligibility: NET Eligibility The Candidates who have already appeared / will be appearing at the qualifying Masters degree (final year) exam and whose result is still awaited are eligible for UGC NET Exam OR The candidates whose qualifying exam have been delayed may also apply for UGC-NET exam. The applicants should have secured minimum of 55% marks in Masters Degree OR The applicants should have equivalent examination from a recognised Universities/Institutions in Arts, Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc are eligible for taking NET test. Age limit You can apply for Lectureship only as there is no upper age limit for taking up National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC. You can’t apply for JRF as the upper age limit for it is 28 years. For NET No upper age limit.
