Re: Upper Age Limit for MP PMT

Madhya Pradesh Pre Medical Test or MP PMT Exam is conducted for admission into undergraduate medical and dental courses. It is conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (Bhopal), to fill 50% seats in private medical colleges and all MP seats in Government medical colleges of the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Eligibility

• Residents of Madhya Pradesh are eligible to apply for appearing in the entrance test.

• One should be above 17 years of age at the time of applying

• Higher Secondary Certificate Exam (10+2) or its equivalent examination must have passed by the candidates, from any recognized state/national Board.

• One must have passed the qualifying exam, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate in the science subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology, from any recognized Board.

• One belonging to Schedule Castes (SC) / Schedule Tribes category should have cleared qualifying exam with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate.

• One appearing in final year exam and those waiting for results can also apply to appear in MP PMT Exam.

• MP PMT Entrance exam has categorized into two pre-dentals and pre-medical, the upper limit for both entrance exams is 25 years. This scheduled by their castes tribes and other backward classes.

Paper Pattern
This exam consists of two papers

Paper 1: Physics and Chemistry
Paper 2: Biology
Each paper consists of objective type questions. Candidates are required to select the correct answer from the four options given for each question.
Both papers need to be completed within a duration of two hours.
There is no negative marking exam for the exam.
The medium of instruction for the exam is English.
