I am going to appear for UP pre medical test. Tell me its marking scheme.

Uttar Pradesh Combined premedical test also known as UPCPMT is a state level medical entrance exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS programs.

Exam pattern:

Paper will be based on 4 subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.
There will be 2 sections. Each section will have 100 questions.

1. Physics and Chemistry: Main portion will be from physics of 11th standard and for chemistry topics- redox reactions, its reason, hydrocarbons and all topics of organic chemistry of 11th and 12th standards and physical and inorganic from 12th standard.
2. Zoology and Botany: Questions will be from animal and plant kingdom. Applicants should prepare syllabus of Biology of 11th and 12th standards thouroughly.

All questions will be objective type. And will carry 4 marks and for every incorrect answer (-1) marks will be awarded.
Duration: 180 minutes.
