Full form of UP CPMT is Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test (UP-CPMT)

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must of 17 years of age

Candidates must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English

Candidates belonging to General category must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in 10+2 examination

Candidates belonging to reserved categories must have secured a total of 40% marks taken together in 10+2 examination

Exam Pattern:
The question paper will consist of 200 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Zoology.

The duration of the entrance exam will be 2 hours.

There will not be any system of Negative marking.

Application Fee:
General Category: Rs 1400/=
SC/ST/OBC Categories: Rs 700/=

Physics Syllabus:
The syllabus of Physics will include the following topics like magnetic effects of current and magnetism, electrostatics, wave motion, physics of nucleus, current electricity, laws of motion, heat and thermodynamics, motions in one dimension, electromagnetic induction, ray optics, gravitation, rotational motion, wave optics, kinetic theory of gases, x-rays, radioactivity, elasticity, vectors motions, work, power and energy, heating and chemical effects of current etc.

Chemistry Syllabus:
The syllabus of chemistry will cover the important topics like general organic chemistry, chemical bonding, coordination compounds,s- block elements, chemical thermodynamics,biomolecules,p-block elements, ionic equilibrium, redox reactions, chemical kinetics, solutions, periodic classification of elements, atomic structure and mole concepts etc.

Biology Syllabus:
The syllabus for Biology will cover the important topics like genetics, chemical coordination, cell, reproduction in plants, animal morpho, plant morpho, photosynthesis, animal tissues, cell division, cell respiration, plant growth, plant water relations, animal respiration, protista, movement and locomotion, biomedical technologies and ecology etc.
