The Reading Child and Adolescent Mental Health service (CAMHS) is based at the Reading University Science and Technology Centre and helps young people aged up to 18 who have mental health difficulties.

Opening hours

Their general opening hours are:

Monday 9am - 5pm
Tuesday 9am - 5pm
Wednesday 9am - 5pm
Thursday 9am - 5pm
Friday 9am - 5pm

Facilities and accessibility

They have the following facilities at the Science and Technology Centre, including:

Wheelchair and step-free access
Access to disabled toilets
A translation service
A braille translation service
A signing service

Parking-

They have free patient parking on site. In most cases, patients will be sent a permit with their appointment letter.

Alternatively, you can request one from the main reception on arrival.

There is also ample visitor parking but again, permits must be collected from reception and displayed.

Visitors can park in the car park immediately outside the Science and Technology Centre as well as in the Enterprise Centre opposite.

If there are no spaces available, there are other pay and display car parks on site.
