Bachelor’s degree in any field (copy of transcript required)
Work experience
Accomplished application materials
Graduate Program Admission Test (GPAT) results

Local applicants need to take the GPAT. The test covers logic, basic quantitative skills and language/reading comprehension. Overseas applicants are required to submit GMAT and TOEFL scores.

The University of the Philippines (UP; Filipino: Unibersidad ng Pilipinas or Pamantasan ng Pilipinas) is a public university system in the Philippines.

MBA Entrance Exam

You are required to take an entrance/admission test.

Local applicants can choose to take EITHER the Graduate Program Admission Test
(GPAT) on the scheduled date OR the Graduate Records Examination (GRE).

The GPAT is administered by the VSB's graduate program office and is held every
second week of April.

If you wish to take the Graduate Records Exam then you should contact the Educational Testing Service (ETS), the company which administers the GRE,

at 60-3-7628-3333 or visit their website and ask to have scores sent to the

University of the Philippines Cesar E. A. Virata School of Business, (code 1607).


International applicants

International applicants except those with bachelor's degrees from the US, UK, New
Zealand and Australian Universities must demonstrate fluency in English by taking the TOEFL (code B151), also administered by ETS.

Documents Required for Admission

The documents and materials required for admission are as follows:

Original Transcript of Records.

Proof of employment indicating your duties and responsibilities.


Minimum work experience required:

1 year (Full-time MBA program)

2x2 photograph (electronic copy to be sent by email).

Two (2) letters of recommendation.

This is submitted online by 2 referees chosen by the applicant.

The referees must send an email to VSB.application@gmail.com with "Recommendation Form Request" in the subject box.
