Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University was established back in the year of 1923 and it is also known as Nagpur University and it is located city of Nagpur in the Maharashtra state in central India and it is named after Tukdoji Maharaj

I want to tell you that you have to give the entrance exam to get admission in PhD in Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed post graduation in respective subjects from a recognized University. Candidates must have passed with minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. Candidates who are from reserved categories in the State of Maharashtra can avail relaxation of 5% marks as per the norms of the University.

Candidates must have passed graduation with at least 50 % marks and a minimum of 15 years of work experience in related areas to get admission in PhD.

Exam Pattern:
The exam is conducted online. There will be a total of 100 multiple choice objective type questions. Each question carries one mark. The maximum time duration allotted for the examination is 90 minutes. Medium of instruction will be in English language and there will be no negative marking

Computer Environment
Data Interpretation
General Research Aptitude
Language Competency
Logical Reasoning
Numerical Ability

Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks to clear the examination. Candidates belonging to reserved category can avail relaxation of 5% marks.

Application Procedure:
Candidates who are eligible for this entrance exam can apply through the official website of the University. They will have to pay the examination fees of Rs. 800/-. Those belonging to reserved categories in the state of Maharashtra are required to pay Rs. 600/- as examination fees.

The online registration dates are from September 5 to 15, 2014. Last date for hard copy submission is September 20. Publication of online admission cards will be done on September 30 and PET examination will be conducted on October 9-11, 2014.
