The Faculty of Mass Communication: Course Phases offered by University of Medical Science and Technology (UMST) is designed to equip all in the first two years (semesters 1 to 4) with the most important basic skills labour market entrants need.

This includes the following: the student sitting for any of 4 degrees mentioned above, where one receives special courses in the field chosen. Further specialised courses are also given in the 4th year (semesters 7 and 8), together with the preparation of 2 projects.
