As per your request here I am sharing the University of Hyderabad MA English entrance exam syllabus;

SECTION I:
Language section. Its contains 25 objective questions which carry one mark each
one third mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

SECTION II:
Essay. You need to write an essay on one of the ten topics given to you in the question paper. This section is for 40 marks. This section is meant to test your writing skills.

SECTION III
Comprehension. In this section you will be given a poem. You have to understand the poem and answer the questions that follow. Total marks for this section are 35. This section is meant to test your understanding power and literary ability.
