Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) is the B-school under University or Delhi which was established in 1954. It offers management education to the professional managers as part-time and full-time MBA programmes. MBA Details The 1st year of the course concentrates on inform management fundamentals like Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness & Change, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Quantitative Methods, and Computer Applications in Management etc. At the completion of the 1st two semesters of the first year and before the commencement of the third semester in the second year, the student is re undergoes summer training in renowned organizations of the country. A report based on the summer training is submitted within four weeks from the commencement of the third semester. In the 2nd year, the students decide on their professional development plans by reflecting on their first year's learning and summer internship experiences. There are 22 core courses and over 78 elective courses offered. Students are required to complete 8 core or elective courses or a combination of both in every semester. The number of students has increased four fold and the classes are held at both north and south campus Eligibility: The candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognized institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. Selection Procedure: The candidates will be short listed on the basis of their CAT scores. Last year, the cut off was 98.56 percentile. The short listed candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
