Hey , I having a pdf related to Union Election Rules of University of Calicut , on the basis of which I am here giving you detail about the Union Election Rules of University of Calicut.

Union Election Rules:

Each College affiliated to the University of Calicut shall have a College students’ Union called (Name of the College) Union, here in after called the Union.

Each college shall institute a fund called (name of the college) Union fund. It shall collect the prescribed fees from the members towards Union activities along with the first installment of the tuition fees at the beginning of each academic year and
shall credit the same to the Union Fund.

The College may have one or more associations besides the College Union according to the different subjects taught at the degree and /or post-graduate level in the college as main subject.

Union shall have a Union Council comprising of the following Office-bearers.
i) The President of the Union (Principal of the college, ex-officio)
ii) The Chairman
iii) The Vice-Chairman,
iv) The Secretary,
v) The Joint Secretary,
vi) The Councillor/Councillors to the Calicut University Union,
vii) The Secretary, Fine Arts,
viii) The Chief Student Editor of the College Magazine,
ix) The General Captain of Sports and Games
