I want to do B Ed from University of Calicut so would you please give me B Ed Admission details of University of Calicut?

The University of Calicut was founded in 1968, it is an affiliating university and it had started the B.Ed. program on sessional basis from the year 1982.

Duration of the Program: One year (2 Semester)

Mode of Selection: Centralized allotment by the University on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examinations.

Eligibility:
Applicants must have B. A./B. Sc/M.Com Degree of the University of Calicut or a degree recognized as equivalent thereto under 10+ 2+3 pattern, with minimum 50% marks in Part III or Masters Degree in the same subject with minimum 50% marks. However 10+2+3 Pattern is not insisted for B.A/B.Sc Degree holders under liberalized scheme of the University of Calicut.

SC/ST candidates including natives of Lakshadweep and candidates under Teacher Quota need only a pass in the Qualifying Examination

Relaxation of 5% marks for OBC and OEC candidates will be allowed to the minimum required marks.

Fee structure:
Registration Fee: Rs. 100/- (Rs. 50/- for SC/ST) (To be remitted through bank chalan infavour of Finance Officer, University of Calicut).

Tuition Fee: Rs.25,000/-
Admission Fee: Rs.1,000/-

Total: Rs. 26,000/-

Students Welfare Fund; Rs. 200/-
Sports Affiliation Fee: Rs. 100/-
University Union Fee: Rs. 50/-
Athletic: fee Rs. 60/-
PTA membership fee: Rs. 1,000/- (Rs. 250 for SC/ST)

Total: Rs. 1,410/-
