The University of Calcutta Medicine College is top ranked. The Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata is a medical school and hospital in the city of Kolkata in the state of West Bengal, India.

It was established in 1835 by William bentinck.

The college is offering degree Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) as well as specialised and post-doctoral degrees. Nursing and para-medical courses are also offered.
