University Baptist Children's Center was established in 1981, as a mission of the University Baptist Church to provide quality, affordable childcare as its commitment to the health and welfare of young children in the university community.

UBCC was housed in University Baptist Church and operated as a financially independent, secular childcare program.

UDCC sets asides four days of Professional Development, In-service training days for our teachers to adhere to NAEYC standards and complete.

They try to coordinate their Professional Development days & training days with Seattle Public Schools.
