I want to become optometrists and for this planning to apply for UK CET Optometry entrance test searching for details related to this. Will you provide basic details about UK CET Optometry Test also provide all details about Requirements for optometrists so I can apply?

CET section where you can take a range of CET, VRICS and CET Video exams in order to collect CET points

CET is a statutory requirement for all fully-qualified optometrists and dispensing opticians.

The CET scheme is a points-based scheme that runs over a three-year cycle from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2018.

Requirements for optometrists

Optometrists must gain 36 general points which must include:

1. Registrants must participate in at least one activity which involves peer review, and must provide a reflection statement linking the learning from the discussion to their own practice.

2. All of the optometry competency units, specifically:

Communication
Standards of Practice
Ocular examination
Optical appliances
Contact lens
Ocular disease
Assessment of visual function
Assessment and management of binocular vision
