UGC stands for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test. UGC NET is conducted by UGC. twice in a year for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship in Indian universities and colleges.
