Yes definitely after completion of Post Graduation through Distance Learning with 60 % marks you are eligible for the NET Exam .

UGC NET entrance Exam is for aspirants who wants to apply for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship in Indian colleges and universities.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have 55% marks in Masters Degree OR equivalent examination from a recognised Universities in Arts, Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc are allowed to apply .

Relaxation of 5% marks for The (SC)/ (ST)/Physically Handicapped (PH)/Visually Handicapped category Applicants in Masters Degree examination for being eligible in taking this test.

Fellow/Lectureship eligibility only after they have passed their Masters degree examination or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PH/VH category Candidates

Candidates who have already appeared / will be appearing at the qualifying Masters degree examination and whose result is still awaited

2. Age Limit

For Junior Research Fellowship:
Candidates should not be more than 28 years.

Relaxation up to 5 years is provided to the Applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories and to women Candidates

Three years relaxation in age will be permissible to the Applicants possessing LL.M. Degree.

Relaxation will also be provided to the Candidates having research experience, limited to the period spent on research in the relevant subject of post-graduation degree, subject to a maximum of 5 years, on production of a certificate from appropriate authority.

Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post-graduation only

Being final year student of MBA distance learning from SMU you are eligible for the UGC NET Exam.

UGC NET entrance Exam is for candidates wants to apply for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship in Indian colleges and universities.
