Re: UGC-NET Exam Eligibility
Here I am giving you the eligibility details for appearing in the UGC-NET Exam from which you can get idea that you are eligible for the UGC-NET Exam or not. Eligibility criteria : 1. Educational Qualification: Applicant must secured atleast of 55% marks in Masters Degree OR equivalent examination from recognized Universities/Institutions in Arts, Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for taking this test. Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/PH/VH (PH-Physically Handicapped. VH-Visually Handicapped i.e. Blind) category candidates. Applicant who have already appeared / will be appearing at the qualifying Masters degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for UGC-NET exam . Ph.D degree holder’s applicant whose Masters level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks for appearing in UGC-NET exam. 2. Age Limit For Junior Research Fellowship: Not be more than 28 years. Relaxation up to 5 years to SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories and to women applicants. Relaxation will also be provided to the applicants having research experience, limited to the period spent on research in the relevant/related subject of post-graduation degree, subject to a maximum of 5 years, on production of a certificate from appropriate authority. Three years relaxation in age will be permissible to the applicant possessing LL.M. Degree. For Lectureship: No upper age limit is prescribed for taking up Lectureship. So you are not eligible for the UGC NET exam while giving the M.com 1year exam , you can appear in UGC NET exam when you are appearing in M.com 2nd year exam or after completing M.com degree course. |
