UGA (University of Georgia) was established in 1785.The university offers over 140 degree programs in a wide array of disciplines. Non-Degree or Transient Status Candidates who do not aim to pursue a degree but who want to take courses for professional advancement, licensure, or certification purposes and who qualified as baccalaureate degree or higher degree holders from a regionally accredited institution can apply for non-degree status. Nondegree candidates need to submit the following documents to the Office of Graduate Admissions: Admission Application Application-processing fee Un official transcripts from the institution that awarded the highest degree. Official transcripts will be required after an offer of admission. Statement of purpose TOEFL scores for Non English speaking international students Transient admission can only be granted to students in good standing at regionally accredited graduate schools who want to enroll for one semester at the University of Georgia.
