UCLA Anderson’s MFE program equips graduates with the education and practical skills for careers in risk management, money management, derivative pricing, private equity, hedge funds, data analytics and technical operational areas of corporate finance. UCLA MFE (Master in Finance Engineering) requirement: The UCLA Anderson MFE admissions committee considers several factors in selecting: Ability to do graduate-level business and finance coursework Evidence of computational programming skills (for example, C++) and familiarity with computers as computational and management tools. Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation ability in English Evidence of experience with mathematical tools (for example, MATLAB) Work or research experience in a quantitative discipline (recommended, but not required) Progress towards obtaining CFA certification Experience with statistical and econometric applications (recommended). You must take either the GMAT or GRE exam.
