Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya was established in 2001 and is contributing to the overall agricultural development of the state of West Bengal by way of developing quality professionals in the niches of Agriculture & Allied Sciences, conducting demand driven research, fine tuning technologies and capacity building of farmers to facilitate socialization, besides providing consultancy and advisory support to the farmers, Government, NGOs & other organizations involved in the agricultural development.
