Admission Requirements for MBA program

An undergraduate degree from an accredited school or program
State

Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.50 (on a 4.0 scale)

Satisfactory test scores on GMAT--minimum required score of 450) OR the General Record Exam (GRE--minimum required score of 146 Verbal Reasoning and 150 Quantitative Reasoning).

Minimum score of 1,000 on the index formula: [(GPA x 200) + GMAT] or 1,050 for the last 60 hours of undergraduate work.

Program structure

The MBA program at Tennessee Tech consists of ten, 3-hour courses for a total of 30 hours:

Seven 3-hour core courses (21 hours)

Three 3-hour electives (9 hours)

As many as 9 semester hours may be transferred in from other AACSB accredited schools.

Each core course required of all MBA candidates with the exception of ACCT 6010 for those students in the Accounting concentration.
