TTE in India Railway Educational Qualification

Can you tell me about the Educational Qualification required for admission as TTE (Travel Ticket Examiner)?

Railway Recruitment Board publishes notification for recruitment in newspaper as well as on their official website for TTE (Travel Ticket Examiner) vacancy.

As it is a government job so competition is very high because number of posts is limited for TTE and many candidates apply. So one has to prepare well for the exam and interview

Eligibility

The eligibility criterion to for TTE examination is:
Applicant must have minimum of 50% marks in 10th or 12th.
Applicant should hold Indian Citizenship
Age of the Applicant must be minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years.

If one fulfills the eligibility then one have to appear for the Written Examination and then for interview.
After qualifying the interview there is a medical test and for it one will be sent for the training of TTE.
After completion of training you can work as TTE.

To become TTE(Traveling Ticket Examiner) in Indian Railways candidate have to appear in RRB exam .

Eligibility criteria :

Pay Scale and Benefits:

Basic pay scale of a newly appointed railway ticket collector varies between Rs.3050-Rs.4590.

Pay scale keeps on revising from time to time. The monthly pay scale constitutes, Basic + Grade pay + DA (90%).

As you want here I am giving bellow info related to Educational Qualification to appear in India Railway Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) recruitment exam:

Eligibility
10th Class (SSLC/ SSC/ Matriculation) Pass OR
12th Class Pass OR
Diploma

Age Limit
Minimum Age Limitation: 18 years
Maximum Age Limitation: 28-30 years

Age relaxation:
For reserved categories/ communities, the relaxation in upper age limit or maximum upper age will be applicable as per Govt. rules and regulations.

Railway Ticket Collector (TC) Salary:-

Pay Scale of RRB TTE Jobs is Rs 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs 1900/-. Hence, basic salary for the post of travelling ticket examiner will be around Rs. 15,000/-. Further, by joining all the allowances, salary will be Rs. 36,000/- per month.

RRB TTE Examination/ Application Fee:-
Unreserved & OBC Categories: Rs. 500/- (rupees five hundred)
Reserved Categories: Rs. 250/- (rupees two hundred & fifty)
Applicants can pay the fee through ONLINE mode using internet banking or debit/ credit cards, etc. and OFFLINE mode using SBI Bank Challan or Post Office Challan.
