Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) conducts recruitment examination for the post of Telecom Technical Assistant. Here are the details of this exam:

Eligibility:
The applicant should have completed diploma in one of following branches:

Computer Engineering
Electronics Engineering
Telecommunication Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Information Technology
Instruments Technology
Radio Engineering

Tentative dates:
Application form should be submitted before May 2015

Syllabus:
2. Applied Physics: Measurement – Units and Dimensions; Waves,
Acoustics, Ultrasonics; Light; Laser and its applications; Atomic
Structure and Energy Levels.
3. Basic Electricity: Electrostatics, Coulomb’s Law, Electric field, Gauss’s
Theorem, concept of potential difference; concept of capacitance and
capacitors; Ohm’s law, power and energy, Kirchoff’s voltage, current
laws and their applications in simple DC circuits; Basic Magnetism;
Electro Magnetism: Electromagnetic induction; concept of alternating
voltage & current; Cells and Batteries; Voltage and Current Sources;
Thevenin’s theorem, Norton’s theorem and their applications.

As you want to apply for the job of Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) Exam of BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) so here I am giving you details related to the Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) Exam of BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited)….

Eligibility Conditions:

The candidates in order to be eligible for the post of TTA should be having a 3 years Diploma in Engineering in the concerned discipline and a Masters Degree in Science from any recognized universities of India.

While candidates applying for the post of JTO must have degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech.) in IT/ CSE/ ECS/ Mechanical) with minimum of 50% marks

Age Eligibility:

The candidates applying to the post of TTA should have their ages in between 18 and 27 years with effect from the date of application.

The candidates applying to the post of JTO should be in between 21 and 30 for being eligible to the concerned post.

Exam Pattern:

The examination for the BSNL JTO & TTO posts is based on the objective type test which consists of multiple type questions.

There are basically three parts:
First Part comprises of the General Ability Test (20 marks)
Second Part comprises of General Engineering (90 marks)
Third Part comprises of Specialization (90 marks) respectively
The duration of the exam is 3 hours.

Hiring Process:

The candidates are selected on the basis of written test which is followed by Interview and Medical Test as applicable to the concerned post for which application has been made.
