Eligibility Criteria for TRB Tamil Nadu Assistant Professor Recruitment 2014 :

Age Limit :
Applicants age should not be over 35 years as on 01-07-2014.

Educational Qualification :
Applicants should possess
BE/ B.Tech and ME/ M.Tech. in the relevant branch of Engineering or Technology with First Class or its equivalent either in BE or B.Tech or ME or M.Tech for Sl no 1 to 8 Posts,
Applicants should possess Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with good academic record of not less than 55% of marks, Pass in the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC for Sl no 9 to 12 Posts.

Pay Scale :
Rs. 15600 – 39100 + AGP : Rs.6000

Selection Procedure :
Applicants are selected based on written test.

Eligibility criteria-

Assistant Professor (Engineering Subjects): -

B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in the relevant branch of Engineering or Technology or its equivalent.

Assistant Professor (Non-Engineering Subjects)-

Master degree in the relevant subject with good academic record or an equivalent cumulative grade point average (CGPA) from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from a foreign university, and National Eligibility Test (NET) passed for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission.

Age criteria-

The age of the candidate should be less than 35 years.

Examination fee-

The candidates have to pay an examination fee of Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC/ ST and differently abled).
The fee can be paid at any State Bank of India (SBI) or Indian Overseas Bank branch using the prescribed challan attached with the prospectus.
