As you have to travel to south India and you are looking for places to visit in South India, I am mentioning some of them

Lal Bagh Gardens
Lal Bagh Gardens is a famous botanical garden in southern Bangalore.

Bull Temple:
Popularly known as the Bull Temple, Dodda Basavana Gudi is situated in the Basavanagudi, area of South Bangalore. The Hindu temple is inside the park called Bugle Rock where bull referred to is a sacred Hindu demi-god, known as Nandi, a close devotee and attendant of Shiva

Hassan:
Hassan is situated 934 mts above sea level with fine weather similar to Bangalore. The town was founded in the 11th century, by Channa Krishnappa Naik and was called Hassan after the Goddess "Haasanamba".

Halebidu:

Halebidu, located in Hassan, Karnataka was the regal capital of the Hoysala Empire in the 12th century. It is home to one of the best examples of Hoysala architecture temples.


Shravanabelagola
Shravanabelagola is located in the Hassan district of Karnataka and is 158 km away from Bangalore. The statue of Gommateshvara Bahubali is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in Jainism.


Illuminated Brindavan Gardens
The Brindavan Gardens are located adjoining the Krishnarajasagara dam built across the river Kaveri.

Ooty:
Ooty is a town and the district capital of the Nilgiris district, Tamil Nadu. Originally occupied by the Todas, the area came under the rule of the East India Company.

Kodaikanal: Kodaikanal in the hills of the taluk division of the Dindigul of Tamil Nadu is referred to as the "Princess of Hill stations" and has a long history as a retreat and popular tourist destination

Kanyakumari: Kanyakumari, also referred to as Cape Comorin earlieris located at the southernmost tip of India. It is the geographical end of the mainland.

Belur: Belur is one of the famous tourist places and was the early capital of the Hoysala Empire.
