I recently opened an account in the State Bank of India and heard about the Foreign Travel Card searching for the card details. Can you please provide me all basic details about this card along with State Bank Foreign Travel Card Charges also provide contact details for doing enquiry?

State Bank Foreign Travel Card' is a prepaid Foreign Currency Card which travellers going abroad are guaranteed to find useful.

State Bank Foreign Travel Card Charges:




Refund of balance in the card account

If the balance in the card is claimed after expiry of the card, the balance will be refunded after deduction of USD-5 / GBP-5 / Euro-5 / AUD-5 / CAD-5 / JPY-500 / SAR-20 / SGD-6.
If the balance in the card is below USD-5 / GBP-5 / Euro-5 / AUD-5 / CAD-5 / JPY-500 / SAR-20 / SGD-6, after expiry of the card, the same will be forfeited.

Deduction on expired Card

USD-5 / GBP-5 / Euro-5 / AUD-5 / CAD-5 / JPY-500 / SAR-20 / SGD-6 will be deducted each year on the expired card.
Manual Cash Transaction(i.e. withdrawing cash from Branch abroad)

USD 1.75 or equivalent in other currencies plus 2% of the withdrawal amount
Card sent by other Bank(If left behind at other bank's ATM or POS)

USD-15 or equivalent in other currencies or actual, whichever is higher
GCAS fee per transaction through VISA

Lost/Stolen Report - USD 35.00 or equivalent in other currencies.
Cash/Card Replacement - USD 175.00 or equivalent in other currencies.
Miscellaneous enquires - USD 5.00 or equivalent in other currencies
