Transfer from VTU to Other University

Can you tell me the policy regarding Transfer from one University to another as I am a student of VTU or Visvesvaraya Technological University right now but like to take transfer to another?

Transfer of students from one college to another college within Karnataka state is permitted only at the beginning of 3rd, 5th, and 7th semesters which is again subject to availability of seats within the permitted intake in respective Colleges and subject to the prior approval of the University.

If a candidate is from University other than VTU one need to pass in all the subjects of 1st & 2nd semesters for admission to 3rd semester and all the subjects of 1st to 4th semesters for admission to 5th semester and all the subjects of 1st to 6th semesters for admission to 7th semester.

The candidates seeking admission from University other than VTU shall have to:

A. Apply for establishment of equivalence with prescribed fees as notified by the VTU
B. Obtain no objection for admission from the university before commencement of term as notified by VTU.

Transfer of students within the College from one branch to another branch at 3rd semester is permitted with the prior approval of the VTU and subject to the provisions made by the Government of Karnataka and AICTE in this behalf.

The University may prescribe fee for administrative purpose (for updating of the records), which shall be notified from time to time, for transfer from one college to another (Change of College) or within the College (change of branch).
