Hey as per my idea Total Number of Seats in TNEA is not fixed it depends
upon merit and here I am giving you its details

Total-100% 31% 26.50% 3.50% 20% 15% 3% 1%

Nationality
The applicant should belong to the state of Tamil Nadu and ought to have completed Class VIII, IX, X, XI & XII from the state.

Eligibility criteria

The aspiring candidates whose parents/guardians are working in the
public/government sector for the last five years in Tamil Nadu are also
eligible to apply.

The applying candidates must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination
from the well-recognized board with the minimum aggregate of 50% marks
(for unreserved category), 45% (for backward class including Muslim), 40%
(MBC & DNC) and 35% (for SC/ST/SCA) candidates in PCM subjects.

Selection Process

The Final selection of the candidates for the engineering courses will be done
through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA 2016).

After the successful completion of the application form submission
procedure, the merit list will be generated by the marks scored by the
candidates in 12th standard.

The priority will be given to the highest rank candidates.

TNEA counselling 2016 will be conducted by the Anna University in the month of July, 2016 for the qualified candidates.
