Lyon is a city in France’s Rhône-Alpes region, sits at the confluence of the Rhône and Saône rivers.

Its city center reflects 2,000 years of history, with a Roman amphitheater in Fourvière, medieval and Renaissance architecture in Vieux Lyon, and the modern, redeveloped Confluence district on the Presqu'île peninsula between the rivers.

The TOEFL iBT test is administered via the Internet. This is offered more than 50 times a year at ETS-authorized test centers throughout the world.

The TOEFL PBT test, administered in a paper-based format, is being phased out and is currently offered only in areas where testing via the Internet is not available.
