Scheme of Written Examination (Objective Type):




Two types of question papers

1. General Studies
2.Aptitude
3.Mental Ability Test
4.General English

The questions on General Studies will be set both in English and Tamil

Selection Procedure:
The selection of candidates for appointment to the interview or non interview posts included in the Group 2 (CSSE-I) Examination will be made in two successive stages

I. For Interview Posts:
i. Written Examination
ii. Oral Test (Interview)

II. For Non Interview Posts:
i. Written Examination
ii. Document Verification

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission organizes Group 2 (Combined Subordinate Service Examination-I) Examination for the recruitment of various vacancies in Tamil Nadu State Government Departments.

TNPSC Group 2 exam conducts for the following posts given below:
Assistant Section Officer
Special Assistant
Deputy Commercial Tax Officer
Sub Registrar, Grade-II
Probation Officer
Assistant Inspector of Labour
Junior Employment Officer
Assistant Inspector
Audit Inspector
Industrial Co-operatives Supervisor
Revenue Assistant
Audit Assistant
Senior Inspector
Supervisor / Junior Superintendent
Handloom Inspector

Eligibility criteria:
Aspirants who possess any degree with an age limit of 18 years to 40 years are eligible to apply for the Group 2 (CSSE-I) examination.
Any Degree or A Degree in BA/B.Com /B.Sc or A Degree in Arts/ Science / Commerce / Engineering from a recognized university.
Applicants should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.

Exam Pattern:

Eligibility:

Age Limit:
Minimum age is 18 years.
Maximum age is 30 years.

Qualification:
Candidate must have bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
