Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) invites application for Recruitment to fill the various vacancies through Group 1 exam. Eligibility Details- Applicant should have Degree (Graduate)/ Diploma from any of the institute/University. Age criteria- Age of the contenders must be lie between 21 to 30 yrs. Age relaxation will be provided as under the instruction of organization. Physical standards Some physical standards have to be satisfied by the entrants. Application Fee Structure Rs. 125/- (expected) for Preliminary examination fee and Rs. 125/- (expected) for Main Written examination fee must be paid by all categories as the examination fees and those categories who are claiming for relaxation have to pay Rs. 50/- (expected) as processing Fee only. Selection Procedure Preliminary Exam Main written Exam Oral test/ Interview Pay scale: Salary package of the participants will depend upon qualification and experience. TNPSC Mains Exam pattern General Studies Paper – I - 300 Marks General Studies Paper – II - 300 Marks General Studies Paper – III - 300 Marks Interview and Record - 120 Marks All papers will be degree standard and descriptive Type The question papers will be set both in Tamil and in English. Candidats are allowed to answer the Main Written Examination either in Tamil or in English or partly in Tamil and partly in English and are also allowed to write Technical words wherever necessary in either of the languages TNPSC Group 1 Mains Exam Latest Syllabus PAPER – 1 1. Modern history of India and Indian culture 2. General Mental Ability 3. Role and impact of science and technology in the development of India and Tamil Nadu PAPER – 2 1. Indian polity and emerging political trends across the world affecting India and Geography of India. 2. Tamil Society, its culture and heritage / English language skills 3. Administration of Union and States with special reference to Tamil Nadu PAPER – 3 1. Current events of national and international importance 2. Current Economic Trends: Indian Economy and Impact of Global Economy on India 3. Socio Economic problems of India and Tamil Nadu. |
