Hi I have completed B.Tech so am I eligible for TNPSC group 1st exam?

Yeah definitely you are eligible for TNPSC group 1st exam after B.Tech as the minimum qualification for this exam is graduation.

TNPSC group 1st exam

Eligibility Criteria:

Degree from any recognized University / Institutions.
Final year student can also apply for preliminary exam

Age limit:

Candidates must have minimum 21 yrs and maximum 36 yrs.
Relaxation will be offered to candidates.

Selection process-

Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Preliminary exam, Main exam and Interview.

Pay Scale:

The pay scale of TNPSC Group I Services is Rs 15,600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs 5400.

How to Apply-

You have to fill the online application form from the official website of TNPSC.

After filling the form you will get an application number and password
Now take the hard copy of online application form and keep it for future reference.

Tentative Important Dates

Last Date to Apply for GROUP 1 exam: 28th January 2014
Date of Group 1 Preliminary exam: 26th April 2014
Date of Download of TNPSC Group 1 Hall ticket: April 2014
