For which courses admission Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination will be conducted in 2013? Would you tell me from which sources I can obtain its syllabus because my brother has applied for appear in this exam and he want it.

The Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE) is an entrance examination used for admitting students to the Engineering and Medical Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu in India.
It is conducted by Anna University on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

BSMS

B.Sc Agriculture/ Forestry
Bachelor of Veterinary Sc/ Fisheries Sc

Eligibility:
The candidates have to pass 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination with at least 60% marks from a recognized Board. Candidates who are waiting for 10+2 results are also eligible for entrance exam.

There is relaxation also for ST/SC/OBC candidates.

Candidates who are belong to other states cant take admission into some of the Professional Courses under TNPCEE.

The upper age limit for the candidate is 21 years. Here three year relaxation for SC/ST candidates


Application form:
Application form can be obtained from The Registrar, Annamalai University against a payment of Rs.1000. By sending a Demand Draft drawn in favor of The Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar from any bank, payable at Chennai
The candidates may also apply online on to the official website of the university.

Exam pattern:
The Entrance examination contains the following 6 papers:
Mathematics
Aptitude Test in Architecture (Compulsory for B. Arch. candidates)
Related Subjects (For Vocational stream candidates)
Biology
Physical Sciences (Questions in Physics and Chemistry)
Vocational Subjects (For Vocational stream candidates)

Each paper carries 50 marks and it follows Multiple Choice Question pattern. TNPCEE carries 100 marks

Physics
Thermodynamics, Measurement and Units, Wave Motion, Alternating Current Circuits, Radiation, Harmonic Motion, Modern Physics, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Magnetic Field, and Electronics.

Chemistry
Atom, Chemical Equilibrium and Ionic Equillibria, Chemical Kinetics, nuclear chemistry, properties and reactions of alkanes, alkenes and alkynes, Transition elements (3d series), Ores and minerals, non-metals and compounds, and Hybridisation of carbon, Sigma and pi-bonds.

Mathematics
Algebra, Arithmetic, Logarithms, Induction, Complex Numbers, Matrices, calculus, Quadratic Equations, Co-ordinate Geometry, Sets and Relations, Trigonometry, Parabola, Hyperbola, Circle, Ellipse and Conics.

Biology
Genetics, Mutation, Human evolution, Taxonomy, Concept of Biodiversity, Ecosystem, Microscopy, Evolution of Human, Chromosomes and Cell Division, Plant Kingdom, Photosynthesis, Cardiac cycle, Blood pressure and Respiratory system.
