TNPC MBBS Exam

Has Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) published recruitment exam notice for MBBS holder as I want to get govt job in Tamil Nadu after my MBBS study ??

As per me Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has not published recruitment exam notice for MBBS holder but Tamil Nadu, Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB) has published a notification for the recruitment for MBBS holder, detail are as follows:

Vacancy Details:
Total No of Posts: 1223
Name of the Post:
1. Assistant Surgeon (General): 1079 Posts
2. Assistant Surgeon-Backlog (General): 144 Posts

Eligibility :
Applicants must possess MBBS Degree with PG Diploma/ PG Degree/ Super Speciality Degree/ DNB in the concerned Speciality & Must be a registered practitioner within the meaning of the Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914.

Age Limit:
Applicants age should be 57 years for SC, SC (A), ST, MBC & DC, BC, BCM, Ex-servicemen, 35 years for others & 48 years for Ex-Servicemen (Others). Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.


Selection Process:
Selection will be based on merit & exam.

Application & Examination Fee:
Applicants should have to pay of Rs. 750/- (Rs. 375/- for SC/ SCA/ ST/ DAP (PH) Applicants) through following modes.
